UCC TAIWAN Representative Shao-Sing Lin Wins the 2026 World Latte Art Championship

Shao-Sing Lin (Coffee Lovers Planet UCC Taiwan) wins Third National Champion title!
We’re beyond thrilled to announce that Shao Sing Lin from Coffee Lover’s Planet Taipei has brought home the Championship Title from the 2026 World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) in San Diego! This prestigious win adds another milestone to Shao Sing’s remarkable track record, solidifying his position as a global coffee champion barista.
The WLAC is one of the most prestigious global competitions in the coffee industry, bringing together top baristas from around the world. We are thrilled to celebrate this incredible achievement and share the excitement of his victory.
Shao Sing is no stranger to the international and global stage as he has competed in various competitions and achieved many awards:
At WLAC 2026, 33 competitors took part in the preliminary rounds, with only the top six advancing to the finals. Participants were challenged to create both free-pour latte art and designer patterns within a limited timeframe.
Competing against top national baristas from around the world, Shao Sing’s winning set featuring a raccoon, giraffe and red panda stole the show with its creativity, technical execution, and storytelling. His passion and dedication have truly paid off.
This win is a testament to Shao Sing’s hard work and a proud moment for the UCC Taiwan team. Join us in celebrating his outstanding achievement and congratulating him on making Taiwan proud on the global stage!

Congratulations to Chen Ling Chieh from Coffee Lover’s Planet Taipei Dunhua store who achieved a victory, securing 2025 Taiwan Siphon National championship title at the Taiwan Specialty Coffee Competition on 12th July 2025!
Beyond UCC Taiwan team direct participation, UCC Taiwan is also one of the proud sponsors in this 2025 Taiwan specialty coffee event.

Taiwan Hand Drip Championship: We’re delighted to announce that a team member, Chen Hui Ling from Coffee Lovers Planet (CLP), achieved a 3rd place in Taiwan Hand Drip Championship 2025!
Furthermore, several UCC Taiwan staff (office and CLP) also demonstrated their brewing process by securing spots within the top 10 in the Taiwan Hand Drip competition 2025, which highlights the widespread passion and skill across our entire UCC Taiwan family.
